Video Insider has a great article about the potential link between YouTube and Geocities.
They bring up some interesting points and I must agree, the amount of business looking for higher quality videos is growing rapidly.
YouTube’s current model is ad-revenue….and many companies are hesitant to put up their videos without control of the advertisements going up against it. Also, the terms of service states that you give copyright ownership of your content to them. So most of the professional content is leaving YouTube for a more controlled delivery.
Should be interesting to see how it plays out.
